70th Reunion a Big Success!

70th Reunion a Big Success! On May 31, 2008, over 350 former campers, staff, volunteers and other friends of camp reunited in the tradition of Native American lore and walked the grounds of Camp Piomingo to celebrate its' 70th Birthday. Old friends, some with their families, gathered to share their stories, memorabilia and memories of how their experience at camp - changed their lives.
The magical aspect of camp was evident as generations blended as demonstrated by the look on young eighteen year old counselors' faces as they intently listened to the stories of former leaders John Rowe, Terry Fuqua and Skip Vogelsang with stories from long ago. Camp truly is ageless
