Throughout the year, we encourage you to complete different fitness challenges to improve your well-being while also having fun!
Fitness challenges are offered throughout the year at various locations. Challenge offerings may vary by location.
Rates vary by challenge.
Challenges are open to YMCA facility members ages 18 and up. Some challenges may be open to the general public.
Seasonal Challenges
MLK Challenge - Southeast Family YMCA
Be inspired by MLK's Selma to Montgomery march by walking 54 miles on a treadmill from January 20-February 28. For every mile you walk/run, you will receive a sticker to put on your tracker. All participants will receive a t-shirt.

Run/Walk, Bike, and Swim Challenge
- Keep track of your miles on our tracking boards for running/walking, biking, and swimming for the calendar year! When you reach your mileage goal, you’ll receive a t-shirt that recognizes your hard work and announces your incredible achievement! Complete all three challenges and receive a sweatshirt and honors at the end of the year.
