

Hardin County YMCA Summer Day Camps
Summer is the perfect time to explore new interests and discover hidden talents. Campers will spend their day being physically active, experience success, become more confident, unplug from technology, develop lifelong skills, grow more independent, learn social skills, reconnect with nature and make friends.
Hardin County Camp Intro
Children will have the opportunity to make their summer active and fun through crafts, sports, indoor and outdoor games, new friends and other fun ways to discover who they are. Although still structured, YMCA Summer Camps are more relaxed than the school routine and offer time and freedom for spontaneous play.

Children will have the opportunity to make their summer active and fun through crafts, sports, indoor and outdoor games, new friends and other fun ways to discover who they are. Explorer Camp
Ages 6-10
Our camps provide a safe and nurturing environment where children have fun, make new friends and explore new activities! This summer, Explorer campers will run, play, and explore, all in a safe and positive environment that emphasizes problem-solving skills, self-reliance, and self-confidence. We will go on two field trips a week, with one of those going to an Aquatic Center.

Horizon Camp
Ages 11-13
Campers will be taking 4 field trips each week. One of those field trips will be traveling to Kentucky Kingdom once a week. Campers will help plan and choose which field trips they want to go on each week. They will also learn important life skills such as basic cooking skills. Campers will be expected to demonstrate and develop YMCA Character Values At Camp, we focus on promoting attitudes of Caring, Respect, Honesty and Responsibility.
