Although still structured, YMCA Summer Camps are more relaxed than the school routine and offer time and freedom for spontaneous play.

Kermit Camps

Ages 3-5

Camp Kermit is meant for our youngest kids who have not entered Kindergarten. We focus on short, interactive activities to keep your child's interest all day. Activities will include crafts, STEM, art and science projects, songs and a variety of games. We have a rest time in the afternoon to recharge so kids can finish the day strong.

Explorer Camp

Ages 6-10

Our program at Clark County is a fun-filled place for your child to enjoy their summer! Our focus is on having fun and making lifelong friendships. Each week we hope your kids will try something new, and gain self confidence in their abilities. We spend lots of time outdoors playing field games, and singing songs, all around our unique weekly themes. We'll also offer lots of fun arts and crafts as well as STEM activities.

Honor Bright Camp

Ages 6-12

Honor Bright is fully outdoors and gives campers the opportunity to explore the 17 acres of woods and fields everyday. This camp is perfect for any child who wants to be outside and active all day long. Honor Bright offers a variety of activities such as archery, hiking, roasting marshmallows, swimming, singing camp fire songs, and so much more! Parents beware: Your camper will come home very sleepy and very dirty each day.

Camp Honor Bright - Leaders In Training

Ages 13-15

The LIT Program at the Camp Honor Bright will provide participants the opportunity to learn readily applicable leadership skills that go beyond just camp. Participants will spend part of their time doing hands-on work at camp, such as leading games and crafts or helping the camp staff with other activities. At least twice a week, LITs will spend time learning about important leadership skills such as communication, teamwork, and responsibility.

Horizon Camps

Ages 10-14

Camp Horizon is all about keeping your older camper active and involved. The campers will help develop the weekly field trip schedule.
